We maintain a database of aviation professionals around the country.  All pilots and mechanics with whom we contract are highly experienced professionals in their field.  Pilots have on average 3,000 hours, and mechanics 10 years of experience.  We require all contractors to maintain proficiency through simulator based recurrent training courses.  If a long term mentor pilot is not readily available in your area, we will locate an experienced flight instructor and provide them the training needed to operate your aircraft while providing you with the required instruction.

The Principle of Vita Volo Aviation is C.J. Eliassen.  C.J is a dual rated airplane & helicopter pilot and flight instructor with over 20 years of experience in aviation.  His 5,400 hours of flight time includes providing flight training in piston and turbine airplanes and helicopters, aerobatics, tailwheel, mountain courses, and glass cockpit equipped aircraft.   He has also served as a corporate, charter, and EMS helicopter pilot.

C.J. holds a Bachelors of Science from Western Michigan University in Aviation Management & Maintenance Technology and has managed & maintained a wide variety of piston and turbine aircraft.  He holds an airframe & powerplant mechanics certificate with inspection authorization and can oversee any and all inspections or maintenance your aircraft requires.
